Safety rules for Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19)

Grace Moogoonhwa Korean School is continuing to observe guidance from CDC(the Centers for Disease Control) and WHO(the World Health organization) in order to keep the students healthy.

We ask you to observe the following guidelines for safety.

You can guide your children to practice some of these steps at home (Korean School guide the students to practice them in the school.)

Wash hands often with soap and water
Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
Avoid kissing, touching, and sharing cups or eating utensils with people who are ill
Disinfect frequently touched surfaces, especially if someone is sick

We ask that if you have any family or staff of household members, who have traveled or have plans to travel to or from mainland China or South Korea, as well as Iran, Italy, and Japan, please inform the enter leadership team as soon as possible.

We ask all individuals returning from mainland China and South Korea to remain in his or her home without contacting community members for 14days following the date of their return to the U.S.

This includes all staff, enrolled children, family members, any other individuals with drop-off/pick-up.

4. If at the end of this 14-day period, no one in the household has experienced any symptoms, a

return to the center is allowed. If someone in the household does experience symptoms during

those 14 days, you will need to notify the school and obtain medical clearance before a return to

the school is allowed.

5. The school follows guidelines of safety arranged by Illinois public schools and Grace Church. If

there is any change in the guidelines, the school might follow the change and inform the parents

and guardians immediately. IDPH(the Illinois Department of Health) stated that the risk to

Illinoisans of contracting the virus is low at this time. At this time, IDPH does not recommend

canceling classes nor does it recommend the use of face masks.

코로나19를 위한 안전지침

그레이스 무궁화 한국학교에서는 코로나19 (COVID-19)에 관련하여 CDC(the Centers for Disease Control)와 WHO(the World Health Organization)가 제공하는 안내지침을 준수하고 있습니다.

한국학교를 통학하는 학생과 가정의 안전을 위하여 학부모님들의 협조를 요쳥하며 아래의 지침을 따라주시기 바랍니다.

아래와 같은 생활습관은 질병 예방에 큰 도움이 됩니다. 생활속에서 실천하여 주시기 바랍니다. (한국학교에서도 이와같이 지도하고 있습니다.)

비누와 손 세정제로 손을 자주 씻으시기 바랍니다.
손으로 눈이나 코, 입을 만지지 않도록 지도 부탁합니다.
타인과의 신체 접촉을 피하도록 지도해 주시며 컵이나 식기등을 공유하지 않도록 지도 부탁합니다.
자주 만지는 물건들은 틈틈히 세정하여 주시기 바랍니다

중국본토, 한국, 이란, 이탈리아, 일본을 최근에 방문하였거나 방문 계획을 가지고 계시다면 한국학교에 연락을 해주시기 바랍니다.

특별히 2020년 2월26일 이후에 학생을 포함한 가족 구성원(함께 거주하는 경우)이 중국과 한국을 방문하였으면 한국학교에 등교하지 마시고 14일간 가정에서 자가격리의 시간을 갖기를 바랍니다.

이는 한국학교 교사를 포함하여 학생들을 drop-off/pick off하는 경우까지도 해당이 됩니다.

14일의 자가격리 기간중 어떠한 증상(기침, 발열, 호흡곤란등)도 발생하지 않으면 한국학교로 다시 등교하셔도 됩니다. 그러나 14일의 격리 기간중 폐렴증상이 발현한다면 학교에 연락을 주시고 정확한 의학적 진단을 받으시기 바랍니다.

그레이스 무궁화 한국학교는 일리노이 Public School과 그레이스 교회와 안전지침을 함께 합니다. 안전지침에 변화가 있으면 한국학교는 준수하며 학부모님께 즉시 알려드리겠습니다. 현재 IDPH(the Illinois Department of Health)에서는 코로나19의 전파 위험성이 낮다고 판단하여 휴교나 학교내에서 마스크 착용등을 권장하고 있지 않습니다.
