지난 해 제 1회 김홍도의 풍속화, 옛사람들의  놀고 먹고 일하며 살기'  역사캠프에 이어 올 2월에 3.1운동 100주년, 대한 독립 만세! 라는 제목으로 제 2회 역사캠프를 기획하여 준비하고 있습니다.

올 해로 100주년을 맞는 3.1운동은 민초들의 비폭력 만세 운동으로  한국 역사에 또렷이 기억되고 있습니다.또한 3.1 운동을 통하여 탄생했던 대한민국 임시정부는 주권을 잃은 나라에서 27년간이나 유지되었던 세계사적으로도 유일무이한 기관이었다고 합니다. 숭고한 한국의 정신 문화를 자녀들이  배우고 체험함으로 이 곳 미국 땅에서 더욱 올곧고 건강하게 자라나길 바랍니다.

대상:1학년-8학년

Grace Korean School is having a very special camp on Feb.18 ( president day) to commemorate the 100th year anniversary of 삼일 운동 , a.k.a. ㅡthe March 1st Movement 

 

The March 1st Movement, also known as Sam-il (3-1) Movement (Hangul: 삼일 운동; Hanja: 三一 運動) was one of the earliest public displays of Korean resistance during the rule of Korea by Japan from 1910 into 1919. 

 

Everyone is invited to this special day camp. This camp will provide a venue for our children to learn and experience the true patriotic spirit of our ancestors. 

 

When: Feb. 18. 2019 / 9:00 am ~ 3: 00 pm
