안녕하세요,
그레이스 무궁화 한국학교 2025–2026학년도 영어권 기초반 담임 장운지입니다. 올 한 해도 함께하게 되어 반갑고 감사한 마음을 전합니다.
올해 저희 반은 교재 **「재외동포를 위한 한국어 1 (영어권)」**을 가지고 수업을 진행합니다. 학생들이 쓰기, 읽기, 말하기, 듣기를 고루 배우며, 한국어를 더 즐겁고 자연스럽게 익힐 수 있도록 수업을 준비했습니다. 또한 다양한 활동을 통해 한국 문화를 경험할 기회도 마련하고 있습니다.
숙제로는 일기 쓰기가 있습니다. 그림 독후활동지는 따로 없지만, 일기를 통해 아이들이 배운 표현을 생활 속에서 직접 써볼 수 있도록 하고자 합니다. 가정에서도 격려해 주시면 큰 힘이 될 것 같습니다.
아이들이 한국학교에 오는 시간을 즐겁게 느끼고, 배운 것을 일상에서 자신 있게 활용할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠습니다. 소중한 자녀들을 맡겨 주셔서 다시 한 번 감사드리며, 올 한 해도 많은 관심과 응원 부탁드립니다.

Hello,
My name is Woonjee Jang, and I am delighted to serve as the homeroom teacher for the Beginner English Track at Grace Moogoonghwa Korean School for the 2025–2026 school year. I am very thankful for the opportunity to walk alongside you and your children this year.
In our class, we will be using the textbook “Korean for Overseas Koreans 1 (English edition)”. Through this book, students will learn writing, reading, speaking, and listening, and we will work together to make Korean learning both fun and natural. We will also introduce various activities that allow students to experience Korean culture in meaningful ways.
For homework, students will be asked to write a journal each week. While there will not be separate book report activity sheets, the journal will help them practice the expressions they have learned and apply them to daily life. Your encouragement at home will be a great support to them.
It is my hope that the time your children spend at Korean school will be enjoyable, and that what they learn here will give them confidence to use Korean in their everyday lives. Thank you again for entrusting us with your precious children. I look forward to a joyful and fruitful year together.
