언제나 에너지가 넘치는 우리 기초 1과정 아이들!

1년동안 너희들과 만나며 선생님은 즐거운 추억을 쌓고 기분 좋은 에너지를 많이 얻었어. 우리 학생들에게도 행복한 기억으로 남았으면 해!

무엇보다 감사한 건 너희들 간에 끈끈한 우정이 생긴 것 같아서야. 쉬는 시간마다 우르르 몰려 다니며 신나게 뛰노는 너희들을 c보면 왠지 모를 뿌듯함이 느껴졌어.

한국인이라는 뿌리가 생소할 수 밖에 없는 너희들이지만 학교에서의 크고 작은 경험들이 나중에 긍정적인 역할을 할 수 있기를 기도해.

My dear students,

I absolutely loved spending this year with each and everyone of you. You guys made my first year as a Korean school teacher so very special.

Aralynne, thank you for always keeping up that bright positive attitude. You inspired your classmates by setting a wonderful example in and outside the classroom. I pray you will continue to grow confident about your Korean background as you move to TX.

민국아, my dear 민국아, you were an excellent student and a cheerful friend. I loved your Santa story and will miss your cute smile.

재우야!  Thank you for trying hard and not giving up. You have a very good heart and are such a smart kiddo. Keep on working on your Korean so one day you can teach your baby sister.

창기야, an amazing story-teller and a dreamer, you did an excellent job! I am truly proud of you for the progress you showed.

예진아, your sweet personality and loving heart puts a big smile on my face. I thank you for always raising your hand and volunteering. I truly enjoyed having you as a student.

지우야, the neat handwriting and beautiful drawings on your journal were absolutely impressive. You have a very strong vocab and reading skills. Thanks for joining us weekly from so far.

유나 D, all of us will miss your unicorn love and Carter stories. You have a unique way of perceiving and expressing things. I love your creativity!

Michael, you are very smart and energetic! Thanks for not giving up. It must have not been easy as the youngest one in our class. I enjoyed your enthusiasm when working with lego blocks.

유나 L, we only got to spend a semester together, but hope you had fun! I appreciated your open heart and will to mingle. I hope you will continue to build friendship with the rest of the students next year.

I pray that all these memories from K-school will play a part in shaping confident identities as Korean-Americans.
